We often imagine that the right choice will reveal itself before we have to make it.

In The Door, the arrows, birds, and circling currents are not instructions from the outside world. They are the visible form of an inner struggle: fear disguised as caution, possibility turning into noise, and the desire to know the outcome before taking the first step.

The door offers no explanation. It does not open by itself, and it never promises what exists beyond it. It remains still while the figure searches for an answer everywhere else.

Only when he begins to move does the question change.
